There is one view that for me epitomizes Northern Colorado...the Rocky Mountains, of course, but more specifically, Longs Peak, which is pretty much always in the background when you are outdoors around here...so when the theme for week 8 was "the view from here," Longs Peak had to be in there somewhere. I had originally envisioned a shot like this for week 5
"Muse" because I am lucky enough to have gorgeous views like this almost my entire way home from work every day and it always inspires me to want to get out and shoot more landscapes, but I never get around to doing it. Of course, the weather and time were not on my side that week, so I was pleased that this week's theme also fit and the weather was much nicer to me!
