I started a project 52 last year and got more than halfway through then got sidetracked and didn't finish. So, this year I am trying again. This time I am doing it with a group of awesome online photographer friends and there is a weekly theme. We are already 4 weeks in, so I am going to post the first three here, then hopefully remember to post weekly in the future!
Week 1: Around the House
The girls are constantly coloring pictures for each other, mommy and daddy, their friends, Tina and whoever else they can think of. Our house is overrun in their artwork, so it seemed fitting that my "Around the House" photo focused on a piece of their artwork.

Week 2: Illustrate a Song
Molly has many nicknames. One that I often call her is Mollypop. So, when the theme for week 2 was "Illustrate a Song" I decided a picture of my Mollypop with a Lollipop was a perfect way to illustrate this song.

Week 3: Shades of Gray
One thing I am really wanting to get more practice at is converting photos to black and white. So, when the theme for week 3 was "Shades of Gray," I decided that rather than get creative with the theme, I would work on a black and white conversion. This also happened to be the week we took the girls ice skating for the first time and our oldest, who is usually too timid to try new things like this, did very well and loved it! I love this photo, which was taken right after she let go and skated on her own for the first time...she looks so happy and proud of herself!

Week 4: Soothing Repetition
Week 4 was a little harder for me. I found this bridge at a new location I was checking out for an upcoming shoot. Maybe not so soothing (well, unless you count the sound of the river running under it!), but repetition none the less!
